WASHINGTON, DC – On Sunday, August 23, the First Family will travel from Martha’s Vineyard aboard Marine One to Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod. The departure from Martha’s Vineyard is travel pool coverage only.
Following the arrival at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, the First Family will travel aboard Air Force One to Washington, D.C. The departure from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod will be open to the press.
The departure of Air Force One is open to pre-credentialed media, but closed to the public.

Media Pre-set: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (All live trucks MUST arrive no later than 4:00PM to park and cable-in during this time. Media will not have access to their live trucks or equipment during security sweeps from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM)
Live truck parking: directed on-site from the Main Gate by military personnel via vehicular escort.
General Media Parking: directed on-site from the Main Gate by military personnel via vehicular escort.
Media Access & Check-in: 6:30 PM (All media must be at the Main Gate no later than 6:30 PM.)
Air Force One Approximate Departure Time: 8:25 PM
Cable Run (distance from live trucks to media riser): 300 feet
Throw (distance from media riser to Air Force One): 150 feet
