President Obama spoke with Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom today to express condolences and to offer support in the aftermath of the deadly terrorist attack in Sousse, Tunisia, last Friday, which killed a number of British citizens. The two leaders reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to work together with our partners in Europe, the Middle East, and around the world to confront terrorism and counter violent extremist ideologies. The President conveyed that the thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the victims, families and loved ones from all countries affected by last Friday’s attacks in Tunisia. They also discussed Greece and the importance of providing support for reforms that set the country on a path toward debt sustainability and growth.
