Earlier today, the Vice President spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. The two leaders discussed events in the region, including our cooperation to counter ISIL and ongoing efforts to negotiate a political solution to the conflict in Syria. During the conversation, the Vice President also reaffirmed the United States enduring commitment to Jordan’s security and stability.
