The White House * 11:00AM ET – As part of the International Jazz Day celebration at the White House, the First Lady will welcome high school students from across the Washington D.C. area for the History of Jazz Student Workshop. The program will feature Herbie Hancock, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bobby Watson, Terrence Blanchard, master jazz students from UCLA and members from the Thelonious Monk Institute. Mrs. Obama will deliver brief remarks to introduce the workshop.
